I'm constantly turning to sweaters this fall to keep me comfy, cozy and in this case color-coordinated. But sometimes sweaters can look oversized and unflattering, especially if they have a boxier shape. One of my favorite styling tricks is the #petitepouf. I like to tuck the front of my sweaters into high waisted pants or skirts (like this outfit) and then I 'pouf' the sides and back out a bit. The sweater is still comfortable and roomy but not overwhelming, and the look goes from oversized to oh-so-styled.   This gray skirt is perfect for work or weekend wear and is definitely on trend with the zipper detailing. Adding a pop of color, like the dark maroon of my bag and shoes, elevates the look and gives it a rich vibe. I found these amazing burgundy booties at 2nd Time Around , a designer consignment boutique. If you read my last post you know that I love the idea of recycled fashion, especially when it means getting designer pieces at a fraction of the cost! And who doesn’t love socks with heels? This girl does!
